Best Hotels in Sitia, Crete
Sitia is a small but gorgeous town in Lasithi, East Crete. It’s a great place to start a fascinating exploration journey in one of the island’s most remote corners. The small town is a good base for visiting Vai Palm Tree Beach, the ancient Toplou Monastery, and the Minoan Palace of Kato Zakros.
But that’s not all; there are plenty of things to do in Sitia, such as visiting the Venetian Fortress or Kazarma or walking along the seaside promenade after a cocktail at night.
Besides, Sitia is a few kilometers from Richtis Gorge, home to one of the most attractive waterfalls in Crete, and about 70 km east of the capital of the Lasithi Region, the town of Agios Nikolaos.
If this small town sounds like an attractive place to stay in Crete, you will want to find the right place to stay in the area. I recommend checking out these properties before you book!
